What is the "Only You" private group?

The Only You group is a personal, private group in OurCal. It’s designed for calendars and events you want to keep separate from your shared groups.

Legacy feature (not available to new users)

Only You groups are a legacy feature and may not be available for new accounts. If you already have one, it will continue to appear in your account.

Privacy by default

By default, only you can see what’s inside your Only You group (its calendars, event details, and chat).

Behaves like a standard group (optional sharing)

As part of updates to support consistent group functionality, legacy Only You groups now behave like any other group — which means you can optionally invite other members to join.

If you add someone to your Only You group, they’ll be able to see what’s shared inside that group (just like any other group).

Availability Sharing (busy time only)

If you’ve enabled Availability Sharing between groups, other groups may be able to see your busy time blocks (free/busy) for scheduling. This does not share event titles, notes, locations, or chat from your Only You group.
