What are event chats in OurCal?

OurCal event chats are end-to-end encrypted messaging channels for each event.

They allow calendar group members to discuss specific plans for that event. Event chats are also home to all the important notifications around the event.

You can see a timeline of updates such as when the location or schedule changes.

As with all data in OurCal, event chat messages are end-to-end encrypted for your privacy.
