OurCal is the only end-to-end encrypted shared calendar app built for couples, families, and friends. Everything you share — your profile, groups, calendars, events, and messages — can be read by only you and the people you share it with. No one else. Not even OurCal.
Most calendar apps encrypt your data on the way to their servers, but keep the keys — so the provider can read your whole schedule at any time, and so can anyone who breaks in. With end-to-end encryption, your data is locked on your device, before it’s sent, and only your group’s devices hold the keys.
Our encryption is provided by Seald and certified by ANSSI, France’s national cybersecurity agency. And it’s on from day one — there’s nothing to switch on.
