Is OurCal open source?

OurCal itself is closed source, but we follow a similar model to WhatsApp — which is also closed source, yet relies on the open-source Signal Protocol for its encryption.

In our case, Seald provides our encryption layer, and their libraries are fully open source. That means our privacy guarantees are independently verifiable — you can review the code yourself on GitHub.
