🆕 Delete Messages

‍

You can now delete messages in groups and event threads by long pressing on them and tapping Delete Message.

Thank you to everyone who upvoted this feature on our public roadmap.

🆕 Plus for Groups

Groups can now be upgraded to Plus, giving all members full Plus benefits within that group.

This allows couples, families, and friends to use Plus in their group with a single subscription.

The result is Plus is now more affordable for everyone, especially for larger groups.

Plus for Individuals

We no longer sell new individual Plus subscriptions but existing subscribers can continue to use all of their Plus benefits in all of their groups.

Fixed Custom Calendar Issue for Basic Plan Users

We resolved a bug that was preventing free users from adding or editing events on custom calendars.

Fixed External Calendar Events Not Showing in Widgets

‍Plus users with external calendars will now correctly see these events in OurCal's widgets if configured to show.

Fixed Default Event Emoji

When creating a new event the emoji will now correctly default to the selected calendar's emoji.

Monthly Plus Subscription For Founding Members

Members who joined OurCal before the introduction of Plus now have access to our monthly subscription, making Plus even more accessible.

Bug Fixes

This release fixes a small number of snags related to our last release, Schedules.

Schedule events for multiple members

You can now schedule events for multiple members, rather than just one or all members.

See their schedule in the Schedules tab

Scheduled events appear on that member’s schedule in the new Schedules tab.

Configure your iOS home and lock screen widgets

You can configure your iOS OurCal Up Next widget to only display select calendars or a schedule. Read our step-by-step guide to learn how.

Setup Reminders

It’s vitally important that you get set up on OurCal correctly to make the most of all our features.

To help everyone do so, we’re introducing reminders that will help you complete key setup actions so that you’re set up to use OurCal confidently in your everyday life.

For example, we will encourage you to complete tasks like scheduling events and adding a login method to ensure you never lose access to your account when changing devices.

To turn these off just open Settings, tap “Notifications”, and toggle off “Setup Reminders”.

Always Know Your Event Is Deleted

When deleting an event in the app, we confirm deletion with a notification. This notification deep links to the group, where you can discuss plans if needed.
