• To keep using OurCal after this date, someone in your group can upgrade to a paid plan.
• One subscription covers all group members.
• If you don’t upgrade, you will lose access but you will not be charged. You can export your events in-app.
• We'll hold your encrypted data for another 30 days after 1 September.

🆕 eta Integration in OurCal

We’re excited to introduce eta: a free app that makes it easy to share live arrival times with your group.

With this new integration, just tap the Share ETAs button on any OurCal event to start sharing your journey.

Here’s what you can do:

• 🚗 Share your live ETA and trip details with others in the event
• 👀 See when everyone is on the way and their expected arrival times
• 🔄 Stay updated without extra group messages or check-ins

Everyone can follow along in real time, so plans stay coordinated and stress-free.

🆕 Move OurCal+ Subscription from Inactive Groups

You can now transfer an OurCal+ subscription from a group that’s been deleted or that you’ve left.

If a group you previously upgraded to Plus is no longer active, you’ll see an option to move the subscription to another group. This helps keep your subscription useful and up to date.

You can find this feature in OurCal’s Settings tab → Plus, by selecting "Assign" next to the inactive group.

🆕 Set Event Time Zones Manually (Plus)

You can now manually set the time zone for any event in OurCal, making scheduling across regions easy.

When a time zone is overridden, you’ll see an asterisk next to the event time — a clear visual cue that the event is shown in a custom time zone.

Just look for the new Time Zone option in the event scheduling screen to get started.

⚡️ Faster Event Quick Entry

We fixed a performance issue that was causing lag in the New Event screen. Quick Entry is now five times faster and parses your input in just 20ms — adding events feels instant again.
